Terms of Service

By accessing or using World Star Dominican, you agree to these Terms of Service and any policies referenced by them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

These Terms apply to visitors, contributors, account holders, editors, administrators, and anyone who accesses or submits content to the platform.

You must be legally able to use the platform and submit content under applicable law. If you use the platform on behalf of an organization, artist, venue, event, or brand, you represent that you have authority to do so.

World Star Dominican may restrict access where necessary to protect users, platform integrity, editorial operations, security, legal compliance, or community standards.

Some features require authentication through an email-based sign-in flow. Users are responsible for maintaining access to and control over the email account used for authentication.

You may not share credentials, misuse authentication links, impersonate another person, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with account systems, or use the platform for abusive, fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful activity.

World Star Dominican reserves the right, at its sole discretion and where reasonably necessary to protect users, platform integrity, editorial operations, operational security, legal compliance, or community standards, to investigate activity, restrict functionality, remove content, reject submissions, suspend or terminate accounts, limit access to services, or take other appropriate enforcement action.

Contributors may submit artist information, events, story ideas, public platform links, approved embeds, images, and related information for editorial review.

You are responsible for ensuring that anything you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you own it, have permission to submit it, or are submitting an official public platform link or approved embed.

Contributors retain ownership of content they own. Submitting content does not transfer ownership to World Star Dominican.

You must not submit material that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights.

By submitting content, you grant World Star Dominican a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to review, store, reproduce, edit, adapt, excerpt, format, moderate, archive, display, publish, distribute, promote, and otherwise use the submitted content in connection with World Star Dominican and related editorial, promotional, operational, and archival purposes.

This license allows us to prepare approved submissions for publication, create editorial drafts, use submitted material across current and future platform systems, and preserve records needed for moderation, security, compliance, and editorial integrity.

World Star Dominican maintains editorial discretion over what appears on the platform. We may review, edit, fact-check, format, translate through editor-reviewed workflows, reject, remove, archive, or decline to publish submitted material.

We may modify headlines, descriptions, excerpts, formatting, metadata, categorization, and presentation to fit editorial standards, platform requirements, audience clarity, and legal or safety needs.

Submitting content does not guarantee review, approval, publication, promotion, placement, timing, visibility, or continued availability.

Approved submissions may become internal editorial drafts before public release. Public publication remains subject to editorial review and platform priorities.

If you believe content on World Star Dominican infringes your copyright or other rights, contact copyright@worldstardominican.com with enough information for us to review the issue.

We may remove, restrict, or investigate content when rights concerns are raised or when we otherwise believe action is appropriate.

You may not scrape, harvest, crawl, copy, index, reverse engineer, overload, probe, attack, bypass restrictions, automate abusive requests, or otherwise misuse World Star Dominican systems without written permission.

You may not use the platform to distribute spam, malware, deceptive content, unlawful material, harassment, impersonation, or activity that interferes with editorial operations or user safety.

World Star Dominican is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, permanent storage, or that every feature will remain available.

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, routes, tools, workflows, or services at any time.

We aim for accurate and culturally respectful coverage, but content may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, third-party information, or editorial judgment.

Users should independently verify event details, prices, locations, safety information, travel requirements, and other time-sensitive information before relying on them.

World Star Dominican uses third-party providers, including Hostinger, Supabase, Sanity, email providers, embedded platforms, and other operational services.

We are not responsible for third-party websites, platforms, outages, policies, content, security practices, or services outside our control.

World Star Dominican may expand to future websites, future mobile apps, future streaming systems, future editorial systems, contributor tools, sponsorship features, subscriptions, newsletters, analytics, and other services.

These Terms apply to future systems unless separate terms are provided for a specific service.

World Star Dominican may be accessed by users in different countries. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to your location and use of the platform.

Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our systems, providers, or editorial operations are located.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page and become effective when published unless otherwise stated.

Continued use of World Star Dominican after changes means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
